AS PART OF MAKE MUSIC DAY
San José Symphonic Choir is thrilled to be part of the City of San Jose's Make Music San Jose 2025. This event Saturday, June 21, will feature 70+ free performances in locations across the city. It's part of a global celebration where cities around the world celebrate the power of music. From live performance to interactive musical experiences, there is something for everyone.
SJSC will perform Ralph Vaughan Williams' Serenade to Music with guest violinist Evan Fine as well as works celebrating the universality of music both sacred and secular including The Battle Hymn of the Republic and Deep River at the Stone Church of Willow Glen, 1937 Lincoln Avenue, San Jose, from 5–6 p.m. Parking is limited so come early to find parking in the neighborhood. Better yet, arrive by 4 p.m. to hear Sounds of Stone, another Make Music Day performance featuring musicians from Stone Church performing on flute, clarinet, pipa (a Chinese lute), and piano!
